Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks using MIG welding techniques, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and specifications. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety in the workplace.

Duties

• Perform MIG welding on various materials according to specifications and blueprints.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry codes and standards during welding operations.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment such as press brake machines to prepare materials for welding.
• Conduct routine inspections of welds to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to rig components as needed for assembly or fabrication.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
• Assist in troubleshooting issues related to welding processes and equipment.

Experience

• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques with a solid understanding of FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) is preferred.
• Familiarity with stick welding and soldering practices is a plus.
• Strong blueprint reading skills, allowing for accurate interpretation of technical drawings.
• Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
• Experience using hand tools and operating press brake machines is advantageous.
• A commitment to continuous learning and adherence to safety standards within the welding environment.
