Part Time Housekeeper

We are currently seeking part-time Housekeepers to join a busy hotel in Crossville. As a Housekeeper, your primary responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, restocking amenities such as soaps and towels, and assisting with laundry duties. The starting pay for this position is $11 per hour. You must be available to work weekends, and the workday will begin at 9:00 AM and continue until all assigned rooms are cleaned.

Starting Pay: $11 per hour

 

Work Schedule: Weekends, 9:00 AM onwards (until all assigned rooms are cleaned)

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Room Cleaning and Sanitization:
    • Clean and sanitize guest rooms to the highest standards.
    • Make beds, dust, vacuum, and mop to maintain cleanliness.
  2. Amenities Restocking:
    • Replenish toiletries, towels, and linens in guest rooms.
  3. Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that each room meets the hotel's cleanliness and presentation standards.
  4. Maintenance Reporting:
    • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
  5. Laundry Handling:
    • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry.
  6. Safety and Health Compliance:
    • Adhere to safety and health regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
  7. Guest Interaction:
    • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests.
  8. Efficiency and Timeliness:
    • Work efficiently and effectively to complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes.

Requirements:

  1. Previous Housekeeping Experience:

    • Previous experience in housekeeping is required.
  2. Attention to Detail:

    • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  3. Cleaning Protocols:

    • Ability to follow cleaning protocols and maintain cleanliness standards.
  4. Physical Stamina:

    • Physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying laundry.
  5. Time Management:

    • Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within specified timeframes.
  6. Flexibility:

    • Flexibility to work weekends and potentially additional shifts as needed.
  7. Communication Skills:

    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  8. Knowledge of Cleaning Chemicals (Optional):

    • Knowledge of proper handling and usage of cleaning chemicals is a plus.
