Property and Casualty Claims Agent
Position Summary
The Property and Casualty Claims Agents are responsible for managing data entry and claims handling, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining organized records. This position will include supporting the Water Leak Relief Claims team. Very high-stress position. You will be regularly dealing with emergencies, angry/upset people, and conflicting urgent demands.
Key Responsibilities
• Reviews reported claims against provisions and terms and conditions for proper adjudication
• Respond to inquiries from claimants or agents regarding procedures and payments in an effective and timely manner
Qualifications
• Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong math skills for handling numerical data
• Typing speed of 50 words per minute with accuracy
• Capacity for high call volume
• High school diploma or equivalent
Position Details
• Position Type: Full-Time/Permanent
• Location: In-Office, Crossville, TN
• Hours: Monday – Friday 8a – 5p CST, Friday 8a – 4p CST
