Innovative Restorations is looking for a qualified bookkeeper/Accounting manager to manage all aspects of our financial records!  Opening available immediately.

 

We are a family owned remodeling company, we have about 40ish team members and growing.  We own 2 businesses and this person will serve the accounting role for both of them.

The position requires a self-motivated, hands-on, detail-oriented individual that will be responsible for full-cycle accounting and managing all aspects of, but not limited to:

  • Data Entry/Journal Entry
  • Process Accounts Receivable and make deposits weekly.
  • Process Accounts Payable and perform check runs bi-weekly.
  • Processing credit card payments daily
  • Opening of mail/handling of mail notices and renewals
  • Maintain Vendor/Customer communication
  • Collection and submission of bi-weekly Payroll information (payroll is outsourced with a PEO)
  • Benefits administration
  • 1099 Processing (annually)
  • Prepare Quarterly advance tax payments
  • Prepare monthly Sales tax returns (for 2 companies)
  • Monthly Bank Accounts and Credit Card reconciliation
  • Preparation of Financial Statements and track key metrics to manage cash flow.
  • Administer general ledger coding, check figures, postings and documents for mathematical accuracy and proper codes prior to entry.
  • Month End Closing
  • Effectively organize and accurately prepare supporting documentation.
  • Paperless record keeping (scanning and saving documentation in an organized digital file system)
  • Executive administrative duties as assigned.
  • Human Resource duties 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online Accounting software.
  • 10-Key by touch
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP
  • Compile and provide information for annual workers comp. audits.
  • Compile and provide information as requested for tax CPA.

 

A full charge bookkeeper/accounting manager that has the opportunity to join our dynamic team must have the ability to present financial statements and effectively communicate the analysis of the information; must be able to identify and define issues distinctly, collect data accurately, establish reliable facts, and draw valid conclusions. The accounting manager will work directly with the owner and the leadership team to manage cash flow and plot the progressive strategy of the company.

 

An Associate/Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business is impressive, but not required, where multiple years of experience can be effectively corroborated and demonstrated.

  • 10 point Drug panel
  • Job specific skills test

 

Interviews we will perform:

  1. Drive by (about a 30 minute interview, but we will also have take your skills test while here, so expect this to take an hour)
  2. Group Interview
  3. Focus Interview about 2-3 hours
  4. Spousal interview (you and your spouse meet my wife and I for dinner)
  5. Job offer interview
