PWC will embrace and share the message of active love and kindness in their upcoming spring season “Swift to Love”. The phrase "Oh, be swift to love, make haste to be kind" is a well-known quote from the journals of Swiss philosopher Henri-Frédéric Amiel (1821–1881), often used as a blessing or benediction in Christian settings, emphasizing life's brevity and the urgency of showing love and kindness to others. Our audience can anticipate a wide variety of music from the uplifting, jazz flavored, spiritual I Got A Robe by John Rutter to the contemporary Fix You by Coldplay an anthemic and comforting song about love, loss, and resilience. Mezzo-soprano Renée Tatum is the guest artist for “Swift to Love”. Renée will sing with PWC on John Rutter’s I Got A Robe and Bizet’s Habanera from “Carmen”. The 50-voice female choir is directed by founding director Dana Beal.
