PWC will share a message of love and kindness in their upcoming spring season “Swift to Love”. The phrase "Oh, be swift to love, make haste to be kind" is a well-known quote from the journals of Swiss philosopher Henri-Frédéric Amiel (1821–1881), often used as a blessing or benediction in Christian settings, emphasizing life's brevity and the urgency of showing love and kindness to others. Our audience can anticipate a wide variety of music from the uplifting, jazz flavored, spiritual I Got A Robe by John Rutter to the contemporary Fix You by Coldplay an anthemic and comforting song about love, loss, and resilience. Mezzo-soprano Renée Tatum is the guest artist for “Swift to Love”. Renée will sing with PWC on John Rutter’s I Got A Robe and Bizet’s Habanera from “Carmen”.
PWC is partnering with House of Hope for the spring concert series. The 50-voice female choir is directed by founding director Dana Beal.
