On Monday evening, September 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm Christopher Brickle will share the basics of whittling and wood carving in this class. He will teach you what it takes to get started, the tools required, safety precautions, etc.  You will be taught basic cuts and safe carving techniques. He will share available resources for learning. You will be given 2 patterns from which to carve a Christmas Tree and a Santa Dog in class with Christopher's guidance. The cost of the class is $25. If you have a carving kit and intend to carve in class, you must bring it to class. Otherwise you can purchase a kit from Christopher for $25 which includes a strop, glove and Knife. You must pre-pay to be registered. By pre-paying we also know how many kits to purchase.
