Veterans will be honored this Veteran’s Day, Saturday, Nov. 11, with events for all ages at the Crossville Community Complex (the Fairgrounds), from 10 AM to 3 PM. Veteran’s groups will provide the Presentation of the Colors, precision drill and other demonstrations. BBQ grilling competitions, both amateur and professional categories, will offer the “Best of the Best” in pulled pork, brisket, ribs, chicken and more. Special craft and artisan demonstrations will be given. Music, door prizes, the Amazing Cake & Pie Auction, celebrity Kiss the Pig contest, hayrides and age appropriate activities such as Little Tykes pedal tractor pull, face painting, Bouncy House, Corn Hole and Car Smash are some of the other activities for all ages. The event is hosted by Crossville Christian School, and proceeds will go to veteran’s groups and the school.
