Back by popular demand, the Cumberland Business Incubator (CBI), is again pleased
to offer monthly Sunshine Sessions, but this time with a bit of twist. With limited
seating, the monthly gatherings will provide day-long availability from 10:30 a.m.
through 3:30 p.m. on the first Saturday of every month starting February 5 th .
Louise Goodman, watercolor artist, quilter, and seasoned paper crafter will facilitate
workshop logistics, and she welcomes all levels of experience, or no experience, to
these sessions.
Attendees will have a chance to simply volunteer their time to check out and possibly
work on some projects for non-profit organizations in Crossville and beyond; a time to
“give back,” if that’s on their new year resolution list. Goodman will show you how. Kits
for card making and scrap book page layouts will be available for purchase, for those
that are interested.
Attendees may stay all day or come and go as their personal schedules allow. This is
the time so many of us need to complete unfinished projects, begin new ones, share
projects with friends, update techniques, tips on the use of crafting tools, and more.
Whether your interest lies in stamping, scrap booking, stitching, or needlework, if it’s
time and space you need, this is the time and place for you. Attendees may bring their
lunch, order in, or leave for lunch and return.
Sessions are held at CBI, 2569 Cook Rd., in Crossville (smaller building located on the
Roane State Community College Campus). To assure enough workspace and social
distancing, attendees will need to register and make their $15 payment. To do this, or
for more information, please call Amy at CBI: 931-456-4910 or Louise at 931-707-2798.
Bring more Sunshine into your days doing what you enjoy most!
