Mark your calendars for the annual Crossville Tree Lighting Ceremony celebrating a Hometown Christmas. The Tree Lighting Ceremony sponsored by Downtown Crossville, Inc. and Cumberland Artisans of Tennessee Studio/Gallery will be held on the lawn of the Crossville Depot. Beginning at 4:30 p.m. Carolers from Central Baptist Church will begin the entertainment. Be prepared for a thrill as the Carolers will dress in period costume (clothing provided by the Threads of Hope Thrift Store. Hot apple cider will be available to keep you warm on an early December eve. Bring the kids and your camera for a photo opportunity with a traditional sleigh provided by Tri County Rental. At 5:00 p.m. the holiday season will become official when the Christmas Tree Lights are turned on. The tree lighting will be followed by the Sweet T's clogging to some of your favorite Christmas song and local Line Dancers. Come early and grab a spot for a chance to bring back those memories of a special time and focus on the magic of Christmas.
